Citadel: Tactical CQC

A Serious Gym for Serious Minds

This site is intended for mature individuals who are dedicated to rigorous training and self-improvement. If you’re easily offended by harsh truths, strong language, or pronouns, this may not be the right place for you.

At Citadel: Tactical CQC, I am committed to providing a no-nonsense environment for serious martial artists. My approach is straightforward and unapologetic. I prioritize discipline, dedication, and hard work.

Setting the Record Straight

I’m not here to make friends or win popularity contests. I’m here to challenge the status quo and expose the realities of the martial arts world. This is a haven for those who seek truth and resilience, not for those who are easily triggered by harsh truths, strong language, or pronouns.

My Philosophy

  • Clear Communication: I set clear expectations, rules, and consequences for all members.
  • Consistency: I maintain consistent standards and enforce rules without exception.
  • Follow-Through: I hold myself and my members accountable for their actions and progress.

Why I Don’t Teach Children Anymore

Let’s face it: Teaching martial arts to children often feels more like babysitting than actual training. Many parents expected me to instill discipline, respect, and work ethic in their kids, but that’s not my job. My role was to teach them to fight back and get in shape. I was not a substitute for parenting, nor was I interested in being one. Too many parents failed to raise their kids properly and expected me to pick up the slack. I won’t tolerate that any longer.

I simply don’t have the patience to tolerate most of them anymore. While some kids took their training seriously, busted their asses, and fought through the pain and tears, others just made me want to scream and slam my head against the wall. Some applied what I taught and made it a pleasure to train them, but too many made me think, “WTF?”

A Stance Against Modern Martial Arts

The commercialization of martial arts has spawned a proliferation of “mcDojos”—schools more concerned with profit than quality. These establishments indoctrinate students with outdated, untested traditions that have no place in today’s modern world. They brag and hide behind their titles and styles, but their skills often fall apart in real-world encounters.

McDojos thrive on the illusion of competence, showcasing impressive demonstrations with compliant partners in controlled environments. These performances mean nothing in an actual encounter. At Citadel: Tactical CQC, I reject this nonsense and focus on practical, effective training. This is not about empty titles or flashy moves; it’s about real, hard-earned skills.

My Commitment

I am dedicated to providing a training environment free from political correctness and catering to self-entitled attitudes. I believe in the importance of resilience and self-reliance. The world does not revolve around individual sensitivities, and neither does my training.

For Those Who Are Ready

If you share my commitment to discipline and hard work, I welcome you to join me. If not, there are plenty of other options available. I am not here to cater to delicate sensibilities or entertain frivolous concerns.

Please Note:

  • Political Stances: I take no political stances because it doesn’t matter who’s in office—we’re all fucked either way. I believe the system is rigged, and no matter who gets elected, nothing changes for the better.
  • Religious Beliefs: I’m not religious by any means. I don’t care if someone believes in one god or another, just leave your faith and superstitions at the door. Your god does not dwell here, and I have no interest in engaging in religious discussions.
  • Cancel Culture and Pronouns: I have a strong disdain for easily triggered and offended cancel culture enthusiasts who think they can censor my language and force me to accept whatever they identify as. It’s not that I don’t give a damn about your rights; I just don’t care if what I say offends you. I’m not walking on eggshells to avoid triggering an emotional debate about pronouns, genders, identities, nor deny biological rules of nature.
  • Self-Entitlement: I have no patience for self-entitled individuals who think the world needs to cater to their feelings. The world doesn’t care about your emotions, and neither do I. If you can’t handle that, then stay off this site.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: I don’t judge anyone based on race, culture, religion, or sexual orientation. None of it offends or upsets me. Just don’t throw your shit in my face and expect me to tiptoe around it.

Leave Your Baggage at the Door

Due to the intensity and fighter’s state of mind I require from anyone training with me, I will not cater to anyone who sucks the life and energy out of me due to their laziness, lack of focus, drive, or ambition. Seriously, if you annoy me with your insecurities and crying, I’m going to tell you to get lost. We’ve all got problems, but I won’t cry on your shoulder about mine, so don’t cry on mine. No one here gets special treatment, and everyone is judged and treated equally. We get hit, we get bruised, we get bloody. Suck it up buttercup, the world doesn’t revolve around you.

At Citadel: Tactical CQC, I believe in freedom of speech and the importance of honest, direct communication. I am here to train, improve, and challenge myself without compromise.
